The new VAPAC website is now online - we hope that it will become a pivotal hub for members and stakeholders in the performing arts sector in Victoria

The Statement of Purposes of the Victorian Association of Performing Centres Incorporated is:

VAPAC promotes and fosters a co-operative network of performing arts centres across Victoria and Tasmania that strive for arts industry best practice in their artistic programming, management and operations so as to encourage and support the performing arts throughout and bring the performing arts to Victorians and Tasmanians.

We hope you will use this site to inform and build stronger networks in our industry.

Long Paddock - Adelaide Sept 2008/9

Country Arts SA on behalf of the Blue Heeler Network, would like to invite you to join us in for the September 2008 Long Paddock Touring Forum.The forum will take place Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 September at the Mercury Cinema, renowned for its support and presentation of emerging film, video and digital media makers, and managed by Media Resource Centre. Registrations open at 11am.

The Mercury Cinema is located within the Lion Arts Centre precinct. A thriving Arts Hub in the west end of Adelaide's CBD, the Lion Arts Centre was re-developed and opened in 1992 as a hub of professional artistic development and is home to numerous arts organisations working in dance, film, contemporary music, craft and visual arts as well as multicultural arts and children's theatre.

On behalf of the Blue Heeler Network and APACA conference the All Occasions Group have arranged competitive accommodation options at a selection of hotels in the heart of city. Most accommodation options are less than 15 minutes walk or a 'free tram' ride to the Mercury Cinema.
